Hi, I’m Max, founder of LevelOps. Let me show you how to install and start using your PDF to draft order app on Shopify. First, go to the Shopify App Store and search for PDF to draft order. Make sure the correct Shopify store is selected in the top right corner. Then, click Install. After you’re redirected to your store, approve the standard Shopify permission. Once installed, the app connects directly to your Shopify store. No custom setup or configuration is required. The app will import your product and customer information. This usually takes a few minutes. When the import is completed, a unique email address is generated for your store. You can start sending text-based orders or PDF orders to this email and the app will create Shopify draft orders automatically. The app sends a confirmation email when a draft order is successfully created or if additional verification is required. That’s it. It’s that simple.

1. Install from the Shopify App Store

Search “LevelOps PDF to Order” in the Shopify App Store. Make sure the correct Shopify store is selected in the top right corner, then click Install and confirm permissions. The app is embedded directly in your Shopify admin. No external logins.

2. Wait for your forwarding address

After install, the app imports your product catalog and customer information. This usually takes a few minutes. When it finishes, a unique forwarding address appears on the welcome screen.

3. Send a first order

Forward one purchase order to your LevelOps address to confirm setup. Then review the draft in the next step.

4. Review your draft order in Shopify {#review-draft}

Within 1-5 minutes the draft order appears in Shopify Admin > Orders > Drafts. You also get a confirmation email with a direct link when the draft is created, or if additional verification is required. Review products, quantities, customer, and address before sending.

The original PO is saved to your Shopify Files. Open the draft order and use the clickable link in the metafield to view it.

Pricing always comes from Shopify, never from the PDF. This includes Shopify Plus B2B price lists.

The confirmation and flagging email recipient is configurable. Changing it is a support request today. Open a support ticket to update it.

Order tags and email alerts {#order-tags}

Every draft order is tagged so you know its status at a glance:

Tag	Meaning
`LevelOps-Order-Successfully-Created`	All products matched. Draft order ready to review and send.
`LevelOps-Some-Items-Not-Found`	Draft order created. Flagging email lists unmatched line items for manual review.
`LevelOps-Customer-Not-Found`	Couldn’t resolve the customer. Link manually or use `Shopify Customer:` override.
